We aim to ensure that our facilities are as up to date as possible to enable all our pupils to have access to the best ICT capabilities.

We have recently purchased a class set of laptops for use in Class Four. Each pupil has responsibility for their own school use laptop. This ensures all Y5/6 pupils have the very best ICT hardware literally, at their fingertips.

Classes Two and Three also have sets of laptops for classroom use and as the school has wireless provision ICT can be used throughout school as a cross-curricular tool which is exactly as it should be for our pupils in this electronic age.

All classrooms have the use of fully interactive whiteboards which enhance teaching and learning. Children also have access to webcams, digital cameras and video cameras. We also use microphones and microscopes to extend and enhance lessons

All pupils and staff are currently exploring how we can make the best use of our “Learning Platform”, Fronter. Pupils have their own logons and can access the platform remotely from anywhere in the world. This brand new technology is in its infancy at the moment but we expect this to flourish in the near future.
