We continue to enrich and enhance the curriculum for all our pupils in many different ways. Evidence can be seen both in school through displays and class worship opportunities and on this website. This year we have had a very comprehensive enrichment programme delivered by both staff members and invited guests and speakers. A variety of sports coaches have worked alongside the school team to deliver a diverse sports programme for all our pupils. We are working hard at Greatham to ensure that everyone adopts a healthy lifestyle. This is reflected in the work of our Ecology Club who work extremely hard to encourage both parents and pupils to support this initiative. Our thriving Eco Club is constantly enhancing the environment of the school. This summer we were awarded The Green Flag in recognition of all that we do. We also achieved International School Status this summer. We have worked with a small group of schools in town to develop links with schools in India. Members of the Indian school staff visited us earlier this year to find out more about English education and we are hoping that some of our staff will get the opportunity to visit Indian schools early next year. We have also developed links with schools in Guernsey and France. All of these contacts enrich the educational experience we offer here for all our pupils. The work of the ICT club can be seen within this website as well as displayed in school. Our pupils all benefit from state of the art technology which supports our curriculum. Many also get the opportunity to visit The Space to Learn building across town, again to enhance ICT curriculum opportunities. Here at Greatham Church of England Primary School we pride ourselves on team work and pupils, parents, staff and governors work hard together and can be justly proud of what we achieve together. If you would like to know more about what is going on please feel free to contact school.
